MELCOL

Sampling unit

The MELCOL sampling unit is a specialized device designed for extracting bulk material samples for subsequent analysis. The equipment is integrated into the processing line at a location with an easily accessible chute. The sample collection container has a capacity of 6 liters. Thanks to this generous volume, it is possible to capture even larger particles, leading to more representative sampling and thereby more accurate material specification.

The station features a simple and functional design, equipped with a pneumatically operated sampling scoop. Samples can be taken either remotely or directly via the local control panel on the device. The sampling station is fully integrable into chutes and serves reliably in all types of operations.

During the design phase, the primary emphasis was placed on simplicity and versatility. Due to its well-thought-out sampling concept, the device does not filter out large particles, making it ideal for sampling a very wide range of materials.

Examples of Conveyed Materials

RDF,  SRF, Chemlon, Tyre fluff, Wood chips, Sludges, Cement, Dust, Biomass.

Key advantages

  • Simple construction
  • Dual control option (remote and local)
  • Suitable for all types of operations
  • Extraction of truly representantive material samples
  • Ability to accommodate large particles (does not filtred them out)
  • Full integration into chutes
