This year, we successfully supplied a new technological line for the Čížkovice cement plant, belonging to the Holcim group. We deliverd the project in cooperation with Aliacem, which was the general contractor for this entire modernization.
The main goal of the project, designed in the spirit of the "Zero Coal Dust" concept, was to completely replace Multicoal with more ecological alternative energy sources. We designed the entire solution to fully maintain the existing operational parameters and high reliability of the entire system.
The following were identified as suitable alternative materials for this operation:

Polyurethane (PUR) dust from cooling technology

Rubber granulate and tire cord

Activated carbon pellets
Our comprehensive technological solution handles the entire process – from material reception, through its safe transport, to precise pulsation-free dosing into the new burner.
Within the project, we installed and commissioned the following technologies:

MELDOCK 4S docking station

MELCON C elevator with an integrated flameless explosion venting device

MELSTAR M blow-through rotary valve
The maximum safety of the entire process is underlined by the installation of the MELCON C chain conveyor, which is designed to operate in explosion-hazard environments combined with pressure resistance for a reduced explosion pressure of 350 mbar.
