Cirkulární technologie pro využití zbytkových materiálů z automobilového odpadu (ASR)

Our company is collaborating on a project aimed at developing a proven technology for sorting automobile shredder residue (ASR). This residue is a complex mixture of plastics, rubber, textiles and fibers, foam materials, glass, dust, and residual metals. Sorting such a mixture presents numerous challenges, such as separating individual types of plastics – which are typically all black – requiring the use of highly specialized sorting technologies.

The project addresses not only the sorting process itself but also the practical application of the individual sorted commodities, with a strong emphasis on material reuse and recovery. The main coordinator of the project is Recycling – kovové odpady a.s., a company with long-standing expertise in the ecological disposal and recycling of end-of-life vehicles. Another partner in this project is VŠB – Technical University of Ostrava. The project is co-funded by the European Union.
